How Do I Send Faxes by Email with eFax?
To send a fax, simply email your file and eFax® will convert it into a fax before sending it on its way.
Follow these 4 steps:
- Create a new email message.
- In the “To:” field, enter the recipient’s fax number followed by @efaxsend.com. For example:
- To send to the UK number +44 (0)20 7555 1234, enter [email protected], where 44 is the Country Code, 207 the Area Code, and 5551234 is the fax number.
- When sending a fax to an international number, use the complete destination fax number, including the country code, city code, and local number. For example, to send to the US/Canada number +1 323 555 1234, you would enter [email protected], where 1 is the Country Code, 323 the Area Code, and 5551234 is the fax number.
- To send to a NGN (non-geographical number) in the UK/EU, you will need to enter the recipient’s fax number followed by @efaxsend.eu in the To: field (instead of using @efaxsend.com). Note: Sending to these number types is more expensive. For information on send rates, click here: https://www.efax.co.uk/signup/pricing.
- Attach the file(s) (10 maximum) you would like to send as a fax. To include a cover page, type the text in the body of the email message. (The body works as your cover page.) Or you can choose from a selection of cover page templates.
- Click Send.
